West Ham United want to sign Marko Arnautovic on loan in January according to a report from The Mirror (January 3rd, page 72).

The Hammers already have two players on loan. ExWHUemployee has claimed that we are able to sign more players on loan, however, as long as they come from abroad.

The Austria international was a great player for West Ham. His exit from the London Stadium was an acrimonious one, however.
And many Hammers fans would find it hard to welcome him back with open arms.

It should also be taken into account that Marko Arnautovic will be 32 in April.
Arnie has been playing in China for the past 18 months and considering his age, he would surely find it hard to return to the Premier League now what with its intensity and ferocious pace.
The main problem with the 31-year-old returning to the London Stadium would be his relationship with the West Ham fans, however.
There are some things that are just irreparable.
The Arnautovic and West Ham ship has sailed. The Hammers are on the verge of a new era of success. And bringing back a notoriously troublesome player is the last thing we should be doing this month.
