90 Min claimed last week that Hammers boss David Moyes is keen to bring the 26-year-old Reds attacker to the London Stadium this summer.
Then club insider ExWHUemployee backed up that claim when speaking on the West Ham Way podcast last night.
West Ham desperately need to sign a new striker.

Whoever it is needs to be proven in the Premier League, have pace and power in abundance and a decent goalscoring record to his name.
It is debatable as to whether Divock Origi is the man for the job at the London Stadium, however.
The 26-year-old is a decent forward. He can operate anywhere along the front-line and has enjoyed some special moments with Liverpool including scoring the second goal during their Champions League final win in 2019.

He has scored only 35 goals in 157 games for the Reds, however (Transfermarkt) – hardly prolific numbers!
West Ham fans excited by Divock Origi links
Perhaps the Belgium international would be a decent signing if he was brought to the London Stadium in addition to a prolific goalscorer.
We could certainly do a lot worse than the 26-year-old Liverpool striker, that’s for sure.
