According to a report from Claret and Hugh, West Ham could go back in for Bournemouth hitman Josh King in January. And some Hammers fans have taken to Twitter in reaction to the speculation.

At the time, many West Ham fans wanted the Bournemouth ace signed instead of Said Benrahma because we were more in need of a centre-forward than we were a winger.

And some Hammers fans have once again taken to Twitter, urging Moyes to get a deal for King done in January…

Stats

The 28-year-old racked up six goals and four assists in 26 Premier League games last season (Who Scored).

In those outings, the Norway international averaged one shot, 1.2 key passes and two dribbles per game. He also won an average of 2.3 aerial duals per game (Who Scored).

King scored 16 goals in the 2016/17 Premier League season, and 12 in the 2018/19 campaign (Transfermarkt).

The 28-year-old is a proven Premier League goalscorer. The Cherries ace can play anywhere along the front-line and he is an incredibly hard worker. King would literally be the ideal January signing for West Ham.

Sky Sports claimed back in the summer that Bournemouth wanted around £18 million for King. But Claret and Hugh now suggest that the striker could be available at a heavily discounted price.

And the West Ham owners must ensure that they back Moyes if King is in fact a key target for the Scot in January. If we sign the 28-year-old, a top eight finish will be well within out reach this term.
