Jamal Baptiste has signed a new contract with West Ham, as confirmed by the club’s official website and some Hammers fans have reacted jubilantly on Twitter.

The 17-year-old is incredibly highly rated at the London Stadium. And he has now signed a new deal that runs until the summer of 2023.
Baptiste has made 40 appearances for the Hammers’ under-18’s and under-23’s combined.

West Ham boss David Moyes will surely be delighted with the youngster’s short-term future now secured.
Senior Hammer Angelo Ogbonna has already shared his admiration for Baptiste, admitting that he has been mightily impressed by the talented youngster (WHUFC.com).
It is clear to see that the teenager could very well have a truly great career ahead of him if he continues to work hard and focus purely on his football.
The early signs are very good. And West Ham tying Baptiste down to a long-term deal is very good news for the east London outfit.
