West Ham fans react to Patson Daka rumour on Twitter as Zam Foot claims the Hammers are leading the race to sign the 22-year-old RB Salzburg hitman.

David Moyes desperately needs to bolster his centre-forward ranks at the London Stadium this summer.

West Ham need to sign at least two top class strikers to compete with and provide cover for Michail Antonio next season.

The Hammers have been linked with a whole multitude of centre-forwards since Sebastien Haller left the London Stadium for Ajax in January.

Patson Daka is one name to have been consistently linked with a move to East London.

And what an incredible signing he would be for the Hammers.

The 22-year-old racked up a stunning 34 goals and 12 assists in 42 games for RB Salzburg so far this season (Transfermarkt). That is a sensational return whatever league you’re playing in.

The Zambia international possesses blistering pace, has great movement and is a lethal finisher.

Salzburger Nachrichten claims he could be available for just £17 million this summer. That would be truly outstanding value for the East London outfit.

Even if David Moyes had to pay £25 million for the 22-year-old we think it would be a snip.
