West Ham want to sign Inter Milan ace Christian Eriksen in January according to a report from Eurosport. And some Hammers fans have reacted on Twitter to the speculation.

The 28-year-old has struggled badly since joining Inter from Tottenham in January for around £17 million (BBC).
On his day, the 103-capped Denmark international is a truly brilliant player. He proved that during his six-and-a-half year spell with Spurs.

Let’s get real here, however.
West Ham won’t be signing Eriksen. Firstly, David Moyes should be prioritising bringing a central midfielder and a centre-forward to the London Stadium in January.
Secondly, the 28-year-old earns a whopping £260,000 per week at Inter (Guardian).

And thirdly, Moyes has repeatedly said that he wants to bring young and hungry players to West Ham. Eriksen clearly doesn’t fit into this category.
Silly season has well and truly begun. The Hammers have made a fine start to their 2020/21 campaign. A couple of solid additions in January could take us to another level.
It’s clear to see that Eriksen will not be attainable for us, however.
