David Moyes will be looking to sign an established striker first and foremost this month.
The Scot has a real dearth of options in the centre-forward department at the London Stadium.
If West Ham do manage to sign a striker, however, a central midfielder should definitely be on Moyes’s agenda straight after.

Now, Jesse Lingard is more known for playing as a number 10 or on either wing, but he can be utilised as an orthodox central midfielder as well.
Despite receiving criticism for his attitude over the past coupe of years, the 28-year-old is still a top class talent on his day.

And perhaps a move away from Old Trafford would provide him with the fresh start he needs in order to reinvigorate his career.
We could certainly do a lot worse than signing Lingard. As long as we bring in a centre-forward as well, the 24-capped England international would surely be a welcome addition at the London Stadium.
The Man United ace’s energy is infectious and his versatility could be crucial for the Hammers during the second half of the season.
