According to a report from talkSPORT, Bournemouth ace Josh King is desperate to join West Ham United in January and the Hammers are working on a deal to sign the striker.
The 28-year-old striker is clearly David Moyes’s number one transfer target.
The hard-working forward is ideally suited to the system in which the Hammers play.
And some West Ham fans have taken to Twitter in reaction to the Josh King speculation…
Josh King is an incredibly hard working striker. His playing style is very similar to that of Michail Antonio.
The 51-capped Norway international isn’t the most prolific of goal scorers, but he has still managed to rack up 50 goals in 177 games for Bournemouth, including 16 in the 2016/17 Premier League campaign (Transfermarkt).
King would be the absolutely ideal player to compete with Michail Antonio for the centre-forward position.
Sebastien Haller isn’t succeeding at West Ham. And for whatever reason that may be, we need to move him on.
The 28-year-old Bournemouth ace would bring some much needed energy and dynamism to our attacking player.
With King allegedly desperate to make the move happen, the Hammers absolutely must get this one done in January!
