West Ham United are reportedly eyeing up a mega-money January deal for an in-form Premier League striker.
David Moyes is clearly desperate to bring a new striker to West Ham in the upcoming January transfer window.
The Hammers boss is incredibly light in the centre-forward department with Michail Antonio failing to fire, and that was before the 33-year-old suffered a suspected hamstring injury when playing or Jamaica yesterday.
Jarrod Bowen can play through the middle but Danny Ings is just not an option due to his horrendous form and unsuitability to Moyes’s system, whilst Divin Mubama is too young and inexperienced to rely upon.
It seems like Moyes could look to address his centre-forward deficiencies with a move to sign Bournemouth hitman Dominic Solanke in January, according to a report from the Mirror.
Whilst the 26-year-old is far from perfect, he has been in good form for the Cherries this season, and his style suits Moyes’s system absolutely to a tee…

West Ham eyeing January striker deal
Solanke is firmly on the Hammers’ radar this winter according to the Mirror.
He is the perfect fit for Moyes’s system in the way that he tirelessly runs the channels and constantly keeps the opposing central defender busy with his physical approach to the game.
The 26-year-old is very good in the air as well and offers his side a real outlet when they’re under the cosh.
Solanke, a one-capped England international, has been in fine form this season, with six goals in 12 Premier League games to his name (Transfermarkt).
The problem here will be Bournemouth’s demands – we had a £40 million bid for the striker rejected in the summer.
They will surely be demanding closer to £50 million at the very least for Solanke in January, and in my opinion, the Hammers won’t be paying anything like that kind of money for the Bournemouth hitman.
West Ham desperately need to sign a striker in January. And despite Solanke’s suitability to our system, I just can’t see him moving to the London Stadium this winter.
