West Ham eyeing £40 million Armando Broja summer transfer swoop but could be foiled by Chelsea ownership crisis

West Ham United are reportedly keen to sign talented Chelsea striker Armando Broja in the summer transfer window.

That’s according to a report from The Sun who claim that the Hammers want to sign Broja although no transfer can happen until the Chelsea ownership crisis is solved.

Signing a top-class centre-forward should be the absolute number one priority for David Moyes before the start of next season.

West Ham simply cannot continue to rely upon 32-year-old Michail Antonio as our only recognised centre-forward option.

The summer transfer window opens in just a few week’s time and a Chelsea player is seemingly firmly on the Hammers’ radar…

West Ham eyeing Chelsea summer transfer swoop

The Sun reckon that Armando Broja is a key transfer target for the Hammers in the summer transfer window.

The powerful centre-forward is really highly rated at Stamford Bridge but it seems as though Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel could be prepared to sell him for the right price.

The 20-year-old Blues hitman is absolutely perfect for the Hammers.

The Evening Standard recently claimed that the West Ham players have been really impressed when coming up against the Albania international this season.

The Sun journalist Tom Barclay recently told Give Me Sport that Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel will demand at least £40 million for Broja this summer.

And West Ham should not hesitate to pay that kind of fee to prise him away from Stamford Bridge.

Broja has spent this season on loan from Chelsea at Southampton and has massively impressed.

The Albanian has proven that he is a striker who is well capable of succeeding at the very highest level.

The Chelsea owned ace is strong, quick and is a really, really good finisher. Broja has bagged an impressive nine goals and one assist in 36 games for Southampton this season (Transfermarkt).

It is his all around game that has been the most impressive thing about him though. The way in which he holds up the ball with his back to goal and brings others into play has been truly magnificent to watch.

He has been described as an ‘incredible’ striker by the BBC.

£40 million sounds like a lot of money for a 20-year-old but Broja literally has it all. And if West Ham pay that amount for the Chelsea striker in the summer transfer window, we strongly believe that it will end up looking like an absolute bargain.
