West Ham are in the mix to sign Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah in January according to a report from The Daily Mail.
And the 22-year-old striker still wants to leave Arsenal during the January transfer window despite scoring a hat-trick in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night.

Hammers boss David Moyes desperately needs to bring a new striker to the London Stadium in January. Michail Antonio’s absence against Tottenham on Wednesday night hammered that point home.
West Ham’s season is in danger of fizzling out unless Moyes brings in someone who can compete with Antonio during the second half of the campaign.

And Arsenal hitman Nketiah might just be the perfect man for the job.
West Ham chasing Nketiah and Arsenal man has made up his mind
The Daily Mail reckon that the 22-year-old Gunners striker is on the Hammers’ radar. And despite scoring a hat-trick on Tuesday night, Nketiah allegedly still wants to leave the Emirates.
Mikel Arteta will be powerless to stop him as well with his contract at Arsenal set to expire in the summer.
The London-born striker has plenty of pace and movement and is a very hard worker. It’s not all straightforward though.
The Gunners hitman has absolutely no kind of physical presence through the middle, and his goalscoring record is fairly poor to say the least with just 23 goals in 90 senior games to his name (Transfermarkt).

There are definite warning signs for West Ham. We think Nketiah has great potential, however. If he does manage to bulk up and improve upon his finishing, he could still be a top class Premier League player.
The young Londoner certainly has the raw ingredients needed to make an impact at the highest level.
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is clearly a fan. He described Nketiah as ‘extraordinary’ last season (Metro). So the 22-year-old obviously has something about him.
And let’s not forget, David Moyes has a great track record of getting the best out of underperforming forward players.
Nketiah would certainly provide us with an option that we don’t currently have off the bench.
The 22-year-old has so much talent and potential. He just needs to work on the areas where he is currently lacking, i.e the physical side of his game.

We think that Nketiah would be a very smart January addition for West Ham, especially if we can pick him up for a bargain fee.
