West Ham are reportedly weighing up a summer transfer move for one of Graham Potter’s former players.
The Hammers are not expected to sell quite so many players following Daniel Kretinsky’s investment earlier this month.
However, the likes of Mateus Fernandes, Crysencio Summerville and Dinos Mavropanos are still expected to leave.
West Ham’s recruitment team have now identified a quality replacement for Mavropanos from Potter’s old club, Brighton.
Here is everything we know so far about the Irons’ pursuit of Adam Webster after he departed from the Seagulls.

Adam Webster transfer latest as West Ham weigh up summer move
Adam Webster is available on a free transfer after he was released from Brighton at the end of the 2025/26 season.
Webster spent seven seasons on the South Coast and leaves with the best wishes of everyone associated with the Seagulls.
A Premier League-proven centre-back, the only reason that Brighton have let him go is his worrying injury record.
Having dealt with several injuries over the past few seasons, Webster missed the entire 2025/26 campaign with a torn ACL.
At 31 years old, it would make sense for him to drop down to the Championship to play regularly and rebuild his career.
Agree or disagree — Craig Bellamy would be a MUCH better manager for West Ham than Nuno? 🤔
Two very different managers… ⚒️
The Sun has reported that “a number of clubs have approached Webster”; meanwhile, West Ham are “exploring a move.”
The former Bristol City man is currently continuing his rehabilitation with Brighton ahead of his next move.
West Ham would surely be one of his preferred options, as they have aspirations of returning to the Premier League next season.
He would also find a space in Nuno Espirito Santo’s starting XI, with Dinos Mavropanos reportedly “looking for a move.”
The Hammers are also likely to sell Jean-Clair Todibo this summer, leaving them with only Max Kilman and Ezra Mayers.
