West Ham have decided to sign Brian Kinnear following his release from Rangers according to ExWHUemployee.
The 20-year-old has been on trial with the Hammers and he obviously impressed David Moyes.
We have to say, this seems like somewhat of a strange acquisition.
Moyes has Lukasz Fabianski, Darren Randolph, Joseph Anang and Krisztian Hegyi to choose from.
Meanwhile, Nathan Trott has left the London Stadium to join Nancy on loan.
So it’s not as though we’re short of numbers in the goalkeeping department.
Moyes actually has a lot of pressing priorities. The West Ham boss has already made four signings – Thierry Nevers, Armstrong Okoflex, Pierre Ekwah Elimby and Levi Laing, but they will all predominantly play for the under-23’s this season.
West Ham to sign Brian Kinnear
The Hammers fans are crying out for some marquee names to be brought through the door at the London Stadium.
As things stand, however, we will have to make do with another youth addition.
Who knows…Kinnear may well go on to be a real hit at West Ham.
Time is ticking down, however, and Moyes needs to start adding to the young players he’s brought in by signing some established stars.
