Hammers boss David Moyes will be desperate to bolster his centre-forward ranks at the London Stadium in the summer.

We sold Sebastien Haller to Ajax in January for around £20 million.

Incredibly, West Ham failed to replace the 26-year-old.

RONALDO NEEDS TO STOP WHINING.

And the Hammers must make amends for that mistake in the summer.

Perhaps we should our renew interest in Valencia hitman Maxi Gomez.

Sky Sports reported in July 2019 that the Hammers were closing in on a deal to sign the Uruguay international for around £43 million.

The 24-year-old ended up joining Valencia, however.

West Ham to go back in for Maxi Gomez?

Gomez has struggled with Los Che though. And with the Spanish side in real financial trouble, they are now prepared to sell him for just £15 million this summer, according to a report from AS (Print edition, page 18, March 24th).

With West Ham’s need for at least one top class striker, it would make sense if we explored the idea of signing the Uruguay international.

Especially given the fee needed to prize him away from La Mestalla.

The 24-year-old is a tenacious, hard-working forward. He seems to be ideally suited to the Premier League and possesses all of the attributes David Moyes looks for in a striker.

It would be no surprise to see Gomez end up at the London Stadium this summer.
