West Ham may be able to sign Liverpool centre-back Nat Phillips for just £12 million this summer according to a report from The Mirror.

Nikola Milenkovic is clearly the Hammers’ first choice centre-back signing.
It appears as though the 23-year-old Fiorentina ace is inching ever closer to moving to the London Stadium. But could Liverpool ace Nat Phillips be an option for David Moyes as well?
With Angelo Ogbonna and Craig Dawson now 33 and 31 respectively and the jury still out on Issa Diop, Moyes bringing two centre-backs to the London Stadium this summer wouldn’t be inconceivable.

West Ham could sign Phillips for bargain fee
The Mirror claims that £12 million could be enough to seal a deal for the Hammers.
We think that this is a deal Moyes should pursue even if we do sign Milenkovic.
As long as it doesn’t detract from our need to sign a top class centre-forward.
In 17 Premier League outings for the Reds last season, Phillips averaged 1.3 tackles, 1.2 interceptions, 4.8 clearances and 0.8 blocks per game. He also won an average of 5.6 aerial duels per match during those appearances (Who Scored).

Those are some very impressive numbers.
The 24-year-old dominated the West Ham attack both times we played Liverpool last season.
So Moyes will undoubtedly be a big fan of the Reds defender.
