West Ham are in advanced talks with Chelsea striker Armando Broja and are waiting to hear back from Sassuolo after lodging a €40 million (£34 million) bid for the Italian.

That’s according to Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth who claims that West Ham signing Broja AND Scamacca this summer cannot be ruled out.

Hammers boss David Moyes is allegedly targeting a hugely exciting double swoop for both strikers. And the Scot has deals in the pipeline for Amadou Onana and Jesse Lingard.

This summer transfer window has already been a hugely positive one with Nayef Aguerd, Flynn Downes and Patrick Kelly all arriving at the London Stadium. Moyes managed to secure the permanent signing of Alphonse Areola as well.

The addition of one or two elite centre-forwards really would take us to another level, however.

And it seems as though the Hammers could be on the verge of doing just that…

West Ham eyeing deals for Broja AND Scamacca

It seems as though the Hammers could sign the Albania and Italy Internationals in the summer transfer window.

That’s according to Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth.

Sheth took to his personal Twitter account this afternoon and provided a big update on West Ham’s striker chase:

I still find it hard to believe that David Moyes will bring both strikers to the London Stadium this summer.

If the Scot does manage to sign both, it will be a miracle.

We’d be happy with either Broja or Scamacca. They are both equally as good as each other. If I had to choose I’d probably opt for Broja purely because he has already proven himself in the Premier League.

The key this summer for Moyes will be to bring at least one top-class centre-forward to the club before the start of the new season.

Michail Antonio is crying out for more competition and cover and has been since January 2021.

West Ham signing Broja and Scamacca would be amazing. Despite Sheth’s update though, I just can’t see it happening.
