The Hammers have been linked with a move to sign Fiorentina centre-back Nikola Milenkovic for quite some time now.
The East Londoners made a £23 million bid for the Fiorentina centre-back during last summer’s transfer window according to a report from Gianluca Di Marzio.
And the links with a move to sign the Serbia international have refused to go away since then.

Calciomercato have claimed that West Ham could sign Milenkovic for just £14 million this summer.
That would be truly outstanding value for the Hammers.
West Ham transfer update provide by Ex
ExWHUemployee has claimed that talks with Fiorentina and the 23-year-old centre-back progressed over night in a positive manner.
It must be said that a deal is still far from nailed on according to Ex, however.

And what an incredible addition Milenkovic would be for the Hammers.
In 34 Serie A appearances for Fiorentina last season, the Serbian scored three goals and registered one assist. In those outings, he averaged 1.4 tackles, 1.3 interceptions, 3.6 clearances and one block per match. The 23-year-old won an average of 3 aerial duals per game. He also had an 86% pass completion rate from an average of 46.6 passes per match (Who Scored).
Milenkovic is ideally suited to the Premier League what with his aerial dominance and aggressive, tenacious playing style.

Hopefully we can get this one wrapped up with the minimum of fuss. Getting a deal done for Milenkovic would turn a poor window into a good one very quickly.
