West Ham allegedly could sign Boubacar Kamara from Marseille in January for a bargain €6 million (£5 million) fee.
That’s according to a report from Corriere dello Sport (print edition January 17th, page 12).
Kamara, 22, is a transfer target for Hammers boss David Moyes according to Corriere dello Sport (print edition January 13th, page 19).

It was suggested that West Ham were leading the race to sign the talented young French midfielder. At the time though, it was suggested that Moyes was keen to bring him to the London Stadium on a free transfer in the summer.

However, that may well have all changed now.
It seems as though there will be a real opportunity to snap up the Marseille starlet for an unbelievable bargain fee this month.
West Ham could secure Boubacar Kamara signing on the cheap
Corriere dello Sport are claiming that Marseille could be prepared to sell the 22-year-old defensive midfielder for just £5 million this month, rather than risk losing him for nothing in the summer.
Kamara would be an incredibly exciting addition for the Hammers. He has the kind of ability that would take West Ham to another level.
The young Frenchman is a defensive midfielder by trade. Her doesn’t possess the kind of box-to-box attributes that Declan Rice does but he is technically as good as the 23-year-old West Ham star.

The 22-year-old Marseille man is tenacious in the tackle, is incredibly dynamic and has bundles of energy. Kamara is an exceptional passer of the football as well.
He’s made 60.6 passes on average per game and has recorded an incredibly successful completion rate of 89.5% (Who Scored).
Kamara really is a quite brilliant young player and Milan Reports describe the Frenchman as a ‘sensational’ talent.
£5 million for a player with the 22-year-old’s quality is absolute peanuts and would go down as truly incredible business for West Ham.
With Alex Kral clearly not impressing David Moyes, bringing in Kamara should be an absolute no-brainer for the Scot in the January transfer window.
The Marseille ace is a world-class star in the making. We absolutely must get this one done before the transfer window closes. There can be no excuses.
