Hammers boss David Moyes is thought to be keen on bolstering his centre-back options at the London Stadium this summer (Claret and Hugh).

With so many positions in desperate need of attention at West Ham, however, and funds tight in East London this summer, Moyes will have to be thrifty in his player recruitment.

So the opportunity to sign some top quality young players on loan will undoubtedly appeal to the Hammers board. And the club’s owners of course.

West Ham to sign Axel Tuanzebe on loan?

The 23-year-old Manchester United centre-back could be available on loan this summer according to according to ESPN.

And ExWHUemployee told the West Ham Way podcast last night that Tuanzebe could very well be on the Hammers’ radar this summer:

“Speaking of Manchester United, it’s been confirmed that Axel Tuanzebe is available on loan. Now I do know that David Moyes likes him. So he could be someone who we potential look to loan with a clause to buy. That’s if we don’t get our other targets.”

We think that the 23-year-old would be a great addition to the West Ham squad.

The young centre-back is a really exciting talent. And he proved it during a stunning display away at Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League last season.

Tuanzebe possesses impressive pace, is strong in the air and the tackle and has the ability to play on the front foot.

If he is available this summer, West Ham should not hang around.
