So, the question has to be asked, was it just an innocent admin error?
Or is there something more intriguing going on?
Anderson has been heavily linked with an exit from the London Stadium recently (Tuttomercatoweb and Noi Biancocelesti).

A potential return to Lazio seems to be on the cards for the 28-year-old. Moving him on this summer may well be the right call from David Moyes.

Nobody would be surprised if West Ham decided to sell the South American winger this summer.
And perhaps there has just been a huge hint as to what the Hammers are planning to do with Anderson this summer.

Whether there is a more ominous reason behind it, however, remains to be seen.
If West Ham have in fact already lined up Anderson’s exit, let’s hope we receive a decent fee for him.
Then David Moyes’s summer transfer budget will be increased and it should subsequently enable him to target more expensive players on higher wages.
