West Ham could have a new strike-force after the January transfer window, as football journalist makes a new centre-forward claim.
Peter O’Rourke has told Give Me Sport how Senegal international striker Boulaye Dia would ‘give serious thought‘ to a move to the London Stadium in January.
Hammers manager David Moyes allegedly wants to bring Dia to the club in the January transfer window.
The 26-year-old striker scored one goal for Senegal at the World Cup out in Qatar this winter.

He will now be heading back to Salernitana though, after England dumped his nation out of the tournament at the last-16 stage last night.
Dia is currently spending a season-long loan with the Serie A side, after he struggled to establish himself in La Liga with Villarreal.
Tutto Salernitana claim that the striker could be sold to West Ham for around €20 million (£17 million). But would Dia be interested in a move to the London Stadium?
West Ham could have new strike-force after January transfer window
According to Peter O’Rourke, Boulaye Dia may well be open to joining the Hammers:

West Ham have obviously had a great last 18 months or so under David Moyes, getting into the Europa League semi-final last year. Obviously they’re going well in the Europa Conference League this season, the Premier League form’s not been great and that’s probably been a concern for everybody. But I think the chance to move to West Ham, also a move to London which is always attractive to players as well, would be something that he would give serious thought to.
I would think that it will be more than a case of just giving a move to West Ham ‘serious thought’ for Dia.
Surely he would jump at the chance to move to the Premier League and join a club like the Hammers wouldn’t he?
I think that the Senegalese forward will actually suit Premier League football down to the ground.
And he would be a very strong addition for either West Ham.
Dia is powerful, has explosive pace and is a real menace for opposing defenders.
West Ham could have a new strike-force after the January transfer window. Whether the Hammers owners will be able to meet Dia’s £17 million asking price remains to be seen though.
