That’s according to a new report from Football Insider which says West Ham remain interested in the Rangers striker.
West Ham have been consistently linked with a move to sign Morelos from Rangers over the last two years.

West Ham heavily linked with Rangers star Morelos
According to a report from The Sun during lockdown, West Ham want the Gers’s Colombian striker in the next window.
West Ham insiders Claret & Hugh claimed that David Moyes is focused on bringing in their ‘priority’ signing in the summer, a strike partner for record buy Sebastien Haller.
Moyes wants to build a new-look West Ham team of young, hungry, energetic, hardworking players.
Morelos, 24, certainly ticks those boxes.
West Ham were told they would have to pay around £20million for Morelos, according to the Daily Record.

Hammers could get striker for cut-price fee – report
But a new report from Football Insider says West Ham could now get him for a bargain £12million after ‘reigniting interest’ ahead of the next transfer window.
And that will be music to the ears of West Ham co-owners David Sullivan and David Gold who will be looking to spend as little as possible in the next window.
“A Hammers source has told Football Insider the club are in the market for a new centre-forward this summer as the likelihood grows they will remain in the Premier League,” Football Insider states.
“Light Blues sources have told Football Insider the club hierarchy recognise they face an uphill battle to keep hold of Morelos this summer.
“He is keen to play in a major European league and is set to quit Ibrox if his asking price is met. That was around the £20million mark earlier this year but it has dropped to around £12m following the pandemic.”

Gers director hinted at sale and Morelos is ticks all the boxes for Moyes
The report comes after Rangers sporting director Ross Wilson hinted the club may have to sell Morelos this summer.
Back in May Wilson told The Scottish Sun that the Rangers hierarchy would need to assess the state of the transfer market post-lockdown before making a call on the Morelos’s future.
But he hinted then the club are open to selling.
Morelos would be an exciting capture for West Ham. Hammers fans love a maverick striker.
And the Colombian’s goal record speaks for itself. He has hit a superb 77 goals in 137 games. That includes 18 in the Europa League from just 29 appearances in the last two seasons.
