David Moyes and Eddie Howe are on the look-out for more fire-power in the January transfer window, but MacLeod would definitely be a signing for the future, rather than the here and now.

The talented teenager is very highly rated at Dundee United, and he has clearly drawn admiring glances from the Premier League…
Newcastle to challenge West Ham for Rory MacLeod in January
The Sun reckon that the Toon are ready to muscle in and beat the Hammers to the 16-year-old forward’s signature this month.
That would be a real shame, because I believe MacLeod is a top talent.
He has already made six senior appearances for the Scottish side, and has really impressed with his pace and movement.

He is an archetypal striker in the sense that he is only interested in scoring goals, although he undoubtedly works hard as well.
MacLeod is in the mould of a Jermain Defoe type striker, and definitely has a bight future ahead of him in the game.
£4 million or the young Scot could end up looking like absolute peanuts.
Unfortunately for West Ham though, it seems as though Newcastle are going full steam ahead to sign Rory MacLeod in the January transfer window.
