West Ham boss David Moyes responded when asked by reporters yesterday if he will make any signings before the transfer window closes.

The Hammers made a flurry of new additions at the start of the window – all of them made with one eye on the future, however.
Thierry Nevers, Pierre Ekwah Elimby, Armstrong Okoflex and Levi Laing were all brought to join the under-23’s.
Alphonse Areola was the only senior arrival, and that was a loan deal with an option to buy.
The clock is ticking down and West Ham desperately need to sign a new striker, a centre-back and an attacking midfielder.
Many Hammers fans think Moyes and the board have left it too late.
West Ham boss David Moyes responds to transfer question
The Scot still seems confident that he will be able to get some signings over the line.
“Yeah, I do, I hope to be able to do some more business. We have been trying hard and we are trying to add to a good group of players and get ourselves some more options. We know we have a challenging season ahead of us, an exciting one and I hope we are able to do something but in this business, there are no guarantees.”
Let’s hope that Moyes does manage to sign some players. Because we desperately need them.
With Europa League football to play on top of Premier League action and two cup competitions, there is a real danger that our best players could be run into the ground.
We still think Moyes will produce the goods and trust him 100% to get it right. With just 10 days remaining though, GSB had better get their act in gear…and fast.
