West Ham manager David Moyes is waiting for West Brom’s £20 million valuation of Sam Johnstone to drop before making a move to bring him to the London Stadium according to a report from The Sun.

Hammers boss David Moyes is ‘mad keen’ on the 28-year-old Baggies stopper (The Sun).
West Ham desperately need to bolster their goalkeeping ranks this summer.
Lukasz Fabianski and Darren Randolph are 36 and 34 respectively and it is unclear as to whether any of our young goalkeepers are ready to make the step up to Premier League football.
And we think the West Brom ace would be an ideal summer signing for the Hammers.
West Ham boss David Moyes waiting for Sam Johnstone price to drop?
The Sun reckons that West Brom will demand a massive £20 million for the 28-year-old.
The Hammers aren’t prepared to pay that amount and will wait for his price-tag to fall.
We have to say, the Baggies must be living in cloud cuckoo land if they think they’re going to get £20 million for a player with just one year remaining on his current contract at the Hawthorns.
Perhaps a price closer to £10 million would be fairer. And then we would say that Johnstone would be somewhat of a steal for that price.
Since joining West Brom, Johnstone has been a real hit. In 131 games for the Baggies, he has let in 183 goals whilst keeping 30 clean sheets in the process (Transfermarkt).
Standing at 6ft 4in tall, the West Brom stopper cuts an imposing figure. He is dominant in the air and a great shot stopper. The Baggies ace is a very impressive communicator as well.
