The 31-year-old joined the Hammers from Borussia Dortmund for around £18 million (Football Insider).

Unfortunately for Yarmolenko, however, he has never hit the heights that were expected of him at the London Stadium.

The Ukraine international is widely believed to be West Ham United’s highest earner.

Spotrac reckon he’s on £115k-a-week at West Ham United. That really is an extortionate sum given the output he has offered at the club.

Getting those wages off the books will be vital for David Moyes. The problem is that no club is willing to pay a transfer fee for Yarmo considering his huge wage demands.

Haber365 reckon that the Ukrainian could be Fenerbahce bound. He has allegedly already agreed terms with the Super Lig outfit therefore an exit from the London Stadium could be imminent.

Losing Yarmolenko for nothing would be a bitter pill to swallow especially when taking into account just how much we paid for him three years ago.

It may well be a necessity, however, in order to balance the books as far as our wage-bill is concerned.

The Ukrainian clearly has a lot of talent. We saw that at the Euros. He just isn’t suited to the intense nature of Premier League football, however.
