Both the Hammers and the Eagles are in search of a top class centre-forward this summer.

And it seems as though David Moyes and Patrick Vieira could very well be competing for the same player.
That’s according to well-renowned football journalist Fabrizio Romano:
West Ham and Crystal Palace chasing Nketiah
The 22-year-old London-born ace is allegedly set to leave Arsenal this summer (The Athletic).
And the Hammers and the Eagles want to sign Eddie according to Fabrizio Romano.
We have to be honest here, however. Surely West Ham can do a lot better than signing Eddie Nketiah this summer.
The 22-year-old isn’t a bad young striker at all. He has plenty of pace and movement and is a very hard worker.

The Gunners hitman has absolutely no kind of physical presence through the middle, however, and his goalscoring record is fairly poor to say the least with just 18 goals in 84 senior games to his name (Transfermarkt).
He wouldn’t suit the Hammers’ playing style whatsoever.
Nketiah could cost around £20 million as well according to a report from The Sun.

That’s far too much money for West Ham to spending on a player like the Arsenal man. We should just let Crystal Palace have him.
David Moyes could and should be doing a lot better.
