Barca are allegedly ‘praying’ that the Hammers make an offer for the 54-capped Denmark international.

That really does tell us everything we need to know doesn’t it!

West Ham really shouldn’t be going anywhere near the 30-year-old Dane.

David Moyes could and should be setting his sights a lot higher than Braithwaite.

The Hammers boss desperately needs to bring a top class striker to the London Stadium this summer.

With European football on the horizon, the West Ham fans are praying that the board back Moyes adequately in the transfer market.

It seems as though one player could be handed to the Hammers on a plate.

The Barcelona forward has a really poor career goalscoring record. He has only 93 goals in 401 games to his name (Transfermarkt)! West Ham need to sign a proven goalscorer this summer.

Whoever it is needs to be athletic, energetic and physically robust and Braithwaite doesn’t possess all of those characteristics.

The Dane would be a really strange signing. It would reek of a panic buy with no thought regarding how he may or may not fit David Moyes’s system.

Let’s hope West Ham bring in someone like Tammy Abraham or Adam Armstrong this summer.

Moyes has to get the striker signing right this summer. Bringing Braithwaite to the London Stadium would be a disaster in the making. This is one the Scot should avoid at all costs.
