West Ham could have a new Head of Recruitment very soon according to the club’s official website.

The Hammers fans have reacted sarcastically to the news, however.
The West Ham fans have had to put up with a lot when it comes to transfers over the past few years.
David Sullivan and David Gold have brought some great players to the club including the likes of Dimitri Payet, Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal.
But for every Payet there has been a Simone Zaza, however.
There have also been plenty of embarrassing moments. The William Carvalho transfer saga was peak Sullivan.
Hopefully those days are long gone, however.
Sure, we haven’t signed any senior players yet. Things may well be starting to turn, however…
West Ham Head of Recruitment: Fans react
With a new head of recruitment on board, the Hammers should be able to be a lot more efficient in the transfer market.
We should be able to embark on more of a data driven assault on the market.
West Ham will hopefully identify players who suit David Moyes’ system and that should see the end of the days of the old scattergun approach.
Quite who the new HOF will be remains to be seen. There have been rumours that the man for the job is Robbie Cooke, but they are unfounded at the moment.
