West Ham United are allegedly still well in the race to sign Marseille midfielder Boubacar Kamara in the summer window.
That’s according to a report form the Sun who claims that the Hammers could face competition from the likes of Newcastle, Manchester United and Crystal Palace for the 22-year-old’s signature.

Kamara is a truly exceptional young player. Milan Reports recently described the Frenchman as a ‘sensational’ talent.
And with West Ham boss David Moyes in need of quality central midfielder reinforcements in the summer, the opportunity to sign the Marseille ace on a free transfer is surely one that we can’t afford to miss out on.

Mark Noble is all set to retire in the summer whilst Alex Kral will surely be sent back to Spartak Moscow after his underwhelming loan spell at the London Stadium.
And then we have the uncertainty surrounding the future of Declan Rice. Either way, Moyes must strengthen his engine room in the summer. And it seems as though a truly brilliant option could be available to us…
West Ham eyeing Marseille midfielder ahead of the summer window
According to a report form the Sun, Boubacar Kamara is firmly on the Hammers’ radar still.
There will be plenty of competition for his signature though, so we had better get down to business quickly if we are to sign the exceptionally talented soon-to-be free agent.
The young Frenchman would be an incredible addition for West Ham.
In 23 Ligue 1 appearances for Marseille this season, Kamara has averaged two tackles and 1.1 interceptions per match. He’s made 64.8 passes on average per game and has recorded an incredibly successful completion rate of 89.9% (Who Scored).

The 22-year-old is energetic, dynamic and would add some much needed athleticism and bite to West Ham’s central midfield ranks.
The Marseille ace is one of the very best at what he does in world football. He is very much a defence-minded central midfielder and would provide a really solid level of cover for our defenders.
The fact that Kamara will be available on a free transfer means that West Ham have a great chance to sign a fantastic player who could fulfil the defensive midfield role at the London Stadium for the next decade or so…for absolutely nothing!
It really is an absolute no-brainer.
Let’s just hope that if West Ham do sign Kamara, he is brought in as competition for Declan Rice and not as a replacement for him!
