West Ham are allegedly interested in signing Fulham starlet Fabio Carvalho in the January transfer window.
That’s according to a report from TEAMtalk who claim that the youngster is refusing to commit to a new deal with the Cottagers.
He will be out of contract at Craven Cottage in the summer so will be available on a free transfer in just five month’s time.
West Ham could sign him this month, however, for a real bargain fee, if Fulham do indeed decide to sell.
Hammers boss David Moyes has a lot of work to do in the transfer market this month. The Scot’s priority will be to sign a top-class striker.

The additions of a centre-back and a left-back wouldn’t go a miss either.
West Ham should always be on the look-out for the very best young players out there though. To be fair to Moyes, he has placed huge emphasis on recruiting the brightest young talents since he returned to the London Stadium in December 2019.
And judging by TEAMtalk’s report, the Scot is looking to add even more young talent to his ranks this month.
Fabio Carvalho on West Ham radar
TEAMtalk reckon that the Hammers are showing real interest in signing the 19-year-old Fulham whizz-kid.
Carvalho would be an exceptional addition for the Hammers. What a talent he is! And he could be available for a real bargain this month if Fulham decide to cut their losses.
The 19-year-old has bagged four goals and one assist in 14 Championship games for the west London outfit this term (Transfermarkt).
The teenager really is an incredibly gifted player. He has dazzled with his precocity over the past year or so. The Fulham ace can play anywhere along the front-line but is most comfortable when deployed in the number 10 role.
The Fulham youngster is technically gifted and plays with a real kind of infectious energy and dynamism. In other words, he seems like the typical Moyes signing.
He really would be a huge coup for West Ham.
The only problem is that Tottenham and Liverpool want to sign the England under-18 international as well (TEAMtalk). Perhaps he will get more opportunities to play regularly at the London Stadium though.
And if Moyes manages to bring Carvalho to the London Stadium, the Hammers will have one seriously exciting young player on our hands.
