Hammers boss David Moyes wants to bring Johnstone and Pereira to the London Stadium this summer according to The Telegraph and Foot Mercato.
West Ham are keen to sign Jesse Lingard on a permanent deal after his successful loan spell in east London last season.
If we miss out on the 28-year-old, however, West Brom star Pereira would be a great alternative.

Meanwhile, the Hammers’ need for a top class goalkeeper has been well-documented already.
The Baggies duo would be superb additions for West Ham this summer.
Valerien Ismael expects Johnstone and Pereira to leave The Hawthorns
The Baggies boss was extremely candid when speaking to reporters yesterday and admitted that both players are free to leave West Brom this summer, as quoted by BT:

“It’s not a secret, Sam Johnstone and Matheus Pereira are the two players who can leave. It’s my expectation they will leave. I don’t need the best players, I need the right players and even if they leave we will find the right solution.”
The fact that the Baggies chief is prepared to let both players leave the Hawthorns is a massive boost for West Ham.
Johnstone could be picked up for just £10 million this summer according to The Athletic.
Meanwhile, Pereira is expected to cost around £15 million according to the Daily Star on Sunday (June 13th, page 41).
There is no reason not to get deals for the two West Brom players signed sealed and delivered now. Let’s hope that the West Ham board are ready to back Moyes to the hilt.
