Club Doria 46 claims that Spurs are very keen to bring the talented midfield ace to North London this summer.

Sampdoria will demand at least €20 million (£17 million) for Damsgaard according to Club Doria 46.

This news is disappointing to read because we think that the Sampdoria ace would be a very realistic signing for West Ham this summer.

He perfectly fits the profile of player Moyes likes to sign.

The 20-year-old Sampdoria starlet is a left winger by trade. He can also operate in the central midfield and centre-forward positions, however.

Damsgaard is energetic, dynamic and plays with a real kind of enthusiasm that can be infectious to his teammates.

He really is a special young talent. The Dane would have slotted in perfectly at the London Stadium.

Tottenham entering the race to sign him could end up being a big problem for West Ham, however.

One thing’s for sure, however. West Ham’s task of signing Damsgaard has just got a whole lot harder.
