Tottenham could reportedly sign West Ham target Jesus Corona for just £16.5 million

Tottenham could sign West Ham target Jesse Corona for just €20 million (£16.6 million) this summer according to Correio da Manha (print edition, July 23rd, page 32).

A Bola have claimed that David Moyes wants to bring the versatile 53-capped Mexico international to the London Stadium this summer.

It seems as though Spurs are primed to sign the Porto ace now, however.

Corona would be a very useful addition for whoever wins the race for his signature.

The 28-year-old can play at right-back, and in the right midfield and right wing positions.

Tottenham to beat West Ham to Corona?

Correio da Manha (print edition, July 23rd, page 32) reckon that Nuno Espirito Santo can bring the Porto ace to Spurs for just £16.5 million this summer.

Meanwhile, the Hammers’ interest in Corona seems to have cooled.

He has recorded 68 assists in 269 games for Porto (Transfermarkt). Those are some pretty impressive numbers considering the fact that he is a right-back by trade.

In fairness, David Moyes will be prioritising the additions of a centre-forward, a centre-back and a central midfielder this summer.
