West Ham have made a very strong start to the 2020/21 Premier League campaign.

The Hammers have already played six of last season’s top eight teams. And we have taken 11 points from our opening eight games.
Things are looking up at the London Stadium. There is still a lot of room for improvement, however.
And three signings in January really could take us to another level. Here’s three names we would like to see David Moyes bring to West Ham in January if possible…
Nikola Milenkovic – Potential value £20 million

Moyes brought Craig Dawson to the London Stadium on loan last month. The 30-year-old is a short-term fix to a long-term problem, however. West Ham desperately need to sign a young and commanding centre-back either in January or next summer. Let’s not forget that Angelo Ogbonna is 32 and Fabian Balbeuna’s next birthday will be his 30th.
With that in mind, Fiorentina ace Milenkovic would be the ideal addition.
The 23-year-old played 37 Serie A games for Fiorentina last season, scoring five goals in the process. During those outings, the Serbian averaged 1.2 tackles, 0.8 interceptions, 3.3 clearances and 0.5 blocks per game. He also won an average of 2.3 aerial duals per match during that period of games (Who Scored).
Milenkovic is an absolutely superb player. And he would improve West Ham’s defence immeasurably.
Morgan Sanson – Potential value £20 million

West Ham do lack options in central midfield. We are strong and disciplined with Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek but we do sometimes lack any kind of creativity, guile or flair.
Bearing that in mind, Marseille ace Morgan Sanson would be a great January addition.
Sanson racked up five goals and five assists in 27 Ligue 1 outings for Marseille last season (Transfermarkt).
In those appearances, the Frenchman averaged 30.1 passes per game, with a very impressive completion rate of 85.9%. He also averaged 1.1 key passes per game (Who Scored).
In 27 league appearances, the 26-year-old averaged 2.2 tackles and 0.9 interceptions per game (Who Scored). So Sanson clearly has it all, and he would be a truly exceptional signing for West Ham.
Josh King – Potential value £10 million

The Hammers’ need for another centre-forward is clear and obvious to see. And bringing in Josh King from Bournemouth would be a huge step in the right direction for the east London outfit.
The 28-year-old racked up six goals and four assists in 26 Premier League games last season (Who Scored).
In those outings, the Norway international averaged one shot, 1.2 key passes and two dribbles per game. He also won an average of 2.3 aerial duals per game (Who Scored).
King scored 16 goals in the 2016/17 Premier League season, and 12 in the 2018/19 campaign (Transfermarkt).
The 28-year-old is a proven Premier League goalscorer. The Cherries ace can play anywhere along the front-line and he is an incredibly hard worker. King would literally be the ideal January signing for West Ham.
Now, all three players could cost somewhere in the region of £50 million. So it would be a big outlay for the owners to make. But it is definitely possible. Especially if we manage to move on some of the deadwood in January.
Bringing Milenkovic, Sanson and King to the London Stadium would take us to another level. And signing the trio would help us compete for a top eight finish. Make it happen!
