David Moyes allegedly wants three exciting January signings who could make West Ham genuine challengers

In other news…Report: Striker West Ham signed for £12m could be set for Premier League return

The Hammers are currently flying high in third spot in the Premier League table.

We are also sitting at the top of our Europa League group after four games and are safely through to the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup.

West Ham have a really busy period starting from Saturday, however, with a run of 13 games in around 41 days.

And our small squad will undoubtedly be pushed to the limit.

The Scot definitely needs to bolster his ranks at the London Stadium.

Moyes’s priority should be to sign a top-class centre-forward, an attacking midfielder/winger and a left-back.

Michail Antonio and Aaron Cresswell are two of the Hammers’ most important players.

So signing a backup striker and left-back will be vital to our hopes of maintaining a push for the top four.

Meanwhile, Said Benrahma has been on fire for West Ham this season. So losing him for up to six weeks when he heads off to AFCON after the new year will be a massive blow.

And with all of that in mind, here are three signings we believe will take West Ham to another level in January…

Nicolas Tagliafico

The 36-capped Argentina international left-back is on the Hammers’ radar according to De Telegraaf.

Tagliafico, 29, would be a quite sensational signing for West Ham. In 25 Eredivisie outings last season, Tagliafico racked up three goals and four assists. He averaged 2.5 tackles, 1.7 interceptions and 2.1 clearances per game. He averaged 52.6 passes per game with an impressive completion rate of 85.9% (Who Scored).

It would take around £10 million to prise him away from Ajax (De Telegraaf).

Jesse Lingard

We don’t need to say anything about Lingard’s quality. We all know exactly what he can bring to the Hammers.

Moyes loves him, as do the West Ham fans.

Lingard bagged nine goals and four assists in just 16 Premier League games for the Hammers last season.

He’s available for around £10 million in January (The Daily Mail).

Bringing him back to the London Stadium in January should be an absolute no-brainer.

Youssef En-Nesyri

Perhaps the most important of signings West Ham can make this summer, the Moroccan would provide superb competition and cover for Michail Antonio.

He could be available for around £30 million according to Goal.

En-Nesyri would be a great signing for the Hammers. He has been described as a ‘brilliant striker’ by well-renowned football website Sport Mob.

The 24-year-old is lively, quick and has great mobility and movement. He is pretty good in the air as well. In short, he is a complete striker.

The Morocco international scored 23 goals in 46 games last term for Sevilla (Who Scored). And he has two in three to his name this season.

If Moyes manages to sign those three players for around £50 million in January, West Ham will be able to put up a real challenge during the second half of the season.

How far can we go? Who knows. But one thing’s for sure, no other team in world football will relish playing against us.
