The Telegraph claims West Ham and Everton are in talks to facilitate a double deal which will be a major upgrade for both clubs.
As we close in on the summer transfer window deadline West Ham and Everton are in talks over a key transfer.
Everton have been linked with several West Ham players of late including Michail Antonio and Ben Johnson.
But it is Hammers outcast Maxwel Cornet who is now wanted by the Toffees it seems.
There is an obvious link given Sean Dyche brought Cornet to the Premier League when he signed him for Burnley.

West Ham purchased the Ivory Coast winger from the Clarets for £17.5m last summer. But he barely played either side of five months out with a rare calf injury.
Cornet has been frozen out by David Moyes at West Ham with Hammers News told the boss was unimpressed with the player’s decision to do his rehabilitation in France instead of with the club last season.
With Said Benrahma and Pablo Fornals already ahead of him in the West Ham pecking order and Mohammed Kudus joining in a £38m deal from Ajax, Cornet has – unsurprisingly – been linked with a move away to the likes of Burnley, Notts Forest and now Everton.
And The Telegraph claims West Ham and Everton are in talks to facilitate a double deal which will be a major upgrade for both clubs.

According to the newspaper, West Ham and Everton are in talks over a deal for Cornet because the Hammers are now actively trying to bring in Serbian assist king Filip Kostic from Juventus.
West Ham fans who followed last summer’s window will know Moyes desperately wanted to bring Kostic to the club after he impressed against them for Eintracht Frankfurt.
But Kostic chose Juve and West Ham ended up signing Cornet instead.
Things have not worked out for Cornet or Kostic, though, with both frozen out. The likes of Football Italia claim West Ham have reignited their interest in Kostic having been approached by his agent.
And The Telegraph claims Everton are going to submit an official offer as West Ham look to sign Kostic to take his place.

“Everton are preparing an offer for West Ham forward Maxwel Cornet on a season-long loan to bolster Sean Dyche’s attack following a poor start to the Premier League campaign,” the report states.
“Cornet was a target at Goodison Park before he moved to West Ham a year ago from Burnley, and he played 15 times last season under David Moyes but suffered injury problems which limited his action.
“He is back on Everton’s radar with West Ham looking to bring in Serbia international Filip Kostić from Juventus to cover a similar role to Cornet.”
This would be a major upgrade for both West Ham and Everton.
Cornet’s face clearly doesn’t fit at West Ham and Everton are in desperate need of more pace and goals in their team.
Aaron Cresswell could still leave before deadline day. So Kostic would provide a new option as a left-back, left wingback or winger while also replacing the delivery Cresswell brings to the team.
The Cornet deal makes sense for West Ham, Everton and the player while also facilitating the Hammers moving for Kostic. And a transfer to the London Stadium makes sense for him and Juve too.
