Spurs have launched a bid to hijack a West Ham move for wonderkid Antonio Nusa in the January window claims a journalist.
There’s no love lost between West Ham and bitter rivals Tottenham Hotspur at the best of times.
If West Ham win their game in hand, the London rivals will be separated by just three points in the Premier League’s top six.
So Spurs and the Hammers will be very much keeping one eye on one another’s January transfer window activity.
And it seems Tottenham are taking that to another level by going after a player being heavily scouted by West Ham.
Because Spurs have launched a bid to hijack a West Ham move for wonderkid Antonio Nusa claims a journalist.

Spurs bid to hijack West Ham move for wonderkid
West Ham have been linked with Club Brugge’s Norwegian sensation, who has been compared to Neymar – as per The Athletic.
David Moyes is very much looking to sign an attacking midfielder who can play off the left. And he has been linked with former Tottenham flop Jack Clarke to that end.
But a move for 18-year-old Nusa has been touted of late. No sooner has that news hit the transfer rumour mill, though, than Spurs are all over it.
According to Dean Jones, Ange Postecoglou wants to beat West Ham to Nusa and is accelerating his interest to see if Tottenham can sign him this month.
“Spurs’ winter clear-out is going so well it could allow them time to sign more players before the deadline,” Jones reports on SportsLens.

Hammers face competition for ‘new Neymar’ Nusa
“Antonio Nusa is one of the targets who had previously been earmarked for the future, but may now see a potential deal brought forward…
“Sources are not yet totally convinced an agreement will be tied up now – partly because of the price-tag attached to him – but discussions have taken place… Other clubs in the Premier League have been scouting the player, including West Ham and Brentford.”
Musa has four goals and five assists for club and country in just 11 starts so far this season, as per WhoScored.
The Athletic claim comparisons to Neymar are very much justified.
Nusa very much fits the profile of player being identified by West Ham technical director Tim Steidten.
Winning this particular race takes on new importance for the Hammers given the emergence of Tottenham as a threat.
