Serhou Guirassy has made his big decision amid links to West Ham and Newcastle United claims a German journalist.
West Ham and Newcastle United have both been heavily linked with mutual interest in several strikers in the January transfer window.
Both the Hammers and the Magpies have been linked with longstanding target Hugo Ekitike again as well as Dominic Solanke and Armando Broja.
But the striker widely reported to be at the top of West Ham and Newcastle’s transfer wish list is Serhou Guirassy.

Moyes and Howe battling for striker
The 18-goal Stuttgart striker has a £17.5m release clause in January and the Hammers and Newcastle were recently given encouragement from key figures at the German club about his availability.
Earlier this week The Daily Mail’s Transfer Confidential column claimed West Ham, Newcastle and Man United were racing to sign the Guinea star.
Well now Guirassy has made his big decision amid links to West Ham and Newcastle claims a journalist.

Guirassy makes his big decision
Florian Plettenberg is Sky Sports Germany’s leading transfer reporter.
And he has some bad news for David Moyes and Eddie Howe this evening.
Because not only has Guirassy’s release clause for January now expired. But the 27-year-old has decided to stay at Stuttgart until the summer.
Plettenberg claimed the Premier League clubs interested in Guirassy had made contact in the last few days about doing a deal.

‘He’s staying with Stuttgart’
But it’s a non-starter unless Stuttgart receive a game-changing offer they can’t refuse in the next two weeks.
“News Serhou Guirassy: He wants to stay at Stuttgart in the winter,” Plettenberg states.
“Stuttgart bosses informed about the decision of the 27 y/o top striker!
“If nothing extraordinary happens with other clubs until deadline day (injuries and unexpected crazy offers etc) then this decision is final.
“His release clause for the winter has already expired. More teams from England have inquired about him in the last few days.”
Bad news then for West Ham and Newcastle who will now have to look elsewhere.
It is worth noting that Guirassy has a similar £17.5m release clause in place for the summer window too.
