West Ham United allegedly hold an interest in signing Southampton defender Jan Bednarek this summer.
That’s according to talkSPORT journalist Alex Crook who claims that Southampton could sell the 26-year-old centre-back to the Hammers, if the price is right.

The 42-capped international could be available for around £13 million this summer (Give Me Sport).
David Moyes has already bolstered his central defensive ranks at the London Stadium this summer with the signings of Nayef Aguerd and Thilo Kehrer.
It could be argued that the Scot needs further centre-back reinforcements though, with Angelo Ogbonna nowhere near match fit and Craig Dawson struggling with a persistent thigh problem. Issa Diop recently left to join Fulham as well.
And it seems as though Moyes is still on the hunt for another centre-back signing…

talkSPORT journalist Alex Crook reckons that the Hammers and Aston Villa both want to sign the 26-year-old Southampton centre-back this summer.
We think that Bednarek is a top-class defender.
He was in the top 10 in the Premier League for both interceptions and clearances last season (Premier League’s official website)
In 31 Premier league appearances last term, Bednarek averaged one tackle, 2.3 interceptions, 4.5 clearances and 2.9 successful aerial duels per game (Who Scored).
During those outings, he made 46.6 passes on average per match and recorded a completion rate of 81.7% (Who Scored).
He has been described as a ‘brick wall’ by The Athletic.
We think that Jan Bednarek would be a very smart addition for West Ham this summer.
Especially if we can pick him up for around £13 million.
In fact, signing the Pole should be somewhat of a no-brainer for Moyes.
