West Ham want to sign Moises Caicedo in January according to a report from the Daily Record. The Hammers are set to face competition from Manchester United for the youngster’s signature, however.

The Independiente del Valle midfielder, 19, is hot property at the moment. He could be available for around €6 million (£5.4 million) in January according to the Daily Record.
David Moyes will undoubtedly be looking to bolster his central midfield ranks next month.
West Ham have a great pairing in the form of Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek.

If one of those players get injured, however, the Hammers could be in real trouble.
The Daily Record claims that West Ham are eyeing a January swoop for Independiente del Valle midfielder Moises Caicedo in order to strengthen their engine room options.
The 19-year-old has racked up six goals and two assists in 30 games for the Ecuadorian outfit (Transfermarkt).

Caicedo is most comfortable when playing in the holding central midfield role. He has also flourished in the box-to-box role, however.
The teenager is highly energetic and is an aggressive presser according to the Daily Record. So he would suit David Moyes’s system at West Ham perfectly.
The Hammers boss will have his work cut-out if he is to bring Caicedo to the London Stadium, however, with Manchester United thought to be in the hunt for the Ecuadorian’s signature as well.
