David Moyes insisted that he hasn’t given up on West Ham ace Manuel Lanzini, when speaking to reporters last night and quoted via Football.London.

The Hammers signed Lanzini for £9 million (Daily Mail) in the summer of 2016 after he impressed on loan during the previous campaign.
The mercurial Argentinian ace has really struggled for form since suffering a serious injury during the build up to the 2018 World Cup.
Manuel Lanzini has been a shadow of his former self over the past two years or so.

There have been some encouraging signs this term, however.
The 27-year-old scored a wonder-goal against Tottenham to earn West Ham a point earlier this season. And in truth, he has been unfortunate not to be handed a Premier League start since then.
He put in an impressive display last night when coming on at half-time for the hapless Pablo Fornals.
And David Moyes told reporters after the match against Crystal Palace that he has not given up on Manuel Lanzini, as quoted by Football.London:

“Absolutely, he came on and controlled the ball, gave us something different and it’s what I want from the players who come on – make a difference, be important and play their part. He’s been a bit unlucky not to have been involved and start geeks but the form of the team has made that difficult. He is not someone I have given up on, I want to get him back to the levels when we were first here. Maybe his injuries affected him a little bit but then we need to find a way to get him back there.”
Let’s hope and pray that Moyes finds a way to get the real Manuel Lanzini back.
The 27-year-old is such a precocious talent. If the South American returns to his best, he could be such a huge asset for the Hammers this season.
The recent signs have been good. And Lanzini surely must now start for West Ham away at Chelsea on Monday.
