West Ham United want to sign Bournemouth ace Arnaut Danjuma this summer according to a report from The Sun.
Hammers boss David Moyes will be a busy man this summer.
The Scot needs to bring at least three new players to the London Stadium.
West Ham need to sign two centre-forwards and central midfielder. That should be Moyes’s priority.
It could be argued that we need a new left-back/left wing-back as well.
The addition of a new winger will probably be well down the list of priorities for the Hammers boss.
In spite of that, The Sun reckons that West Ham are chasing Bournemouth wide man Arnaut Danjuma.
The 24-year-old joined the Cherries from Club Brugge in the summer of 2019 for around £12.8 million (BBC).
Do West Ham actually need Arnaut Danjuma?
He has enjoyed a successful time at the Vitality Stadium with 10 goals and five assists in 42 games for Bournemouth to his name (Transfermarkt).
The two-capped Holland international is a really lively winger. He possesses blistering pace and is really direct in his playing style.
Danjuma is a top class player and he would have a lot to offer West Ham.
The reality is that we should be prioritising other signings, however.
And for that reason, it seems highly unlikely that the Hammers will be signing the Bournemouth ace this summer.
