The Mail and Bristol Post have previously claimed West Ham are ‘keen’ on signing Scott in the summer have been ‘monitoring his situation’.
City expect a bidding war for Scott and the Hammers are said to be in the queue for the 19-year-old according to the reports.

Scott is allegedly seen as one of the signings West Ham will look to as they rebuild their midfield following Declan Rice’s impending departure.

The Daily Mail claims West Ham are still very much interested in Scott ahead of the summer window – which opens for domestic transfers around this time next month.

But the report states West Ham are not willing to pay Bristol City’s £25m asking price.
“West Ham retain an interest in Bristol City’s Alex Scott, also wanted by Wolves, but they are reluctant to meet the £25m asking price,” The Mail’s Transfer Confidential column claims.
The same report also claims West Ham are keeping an eye on former Arsenal trainee Yunus Musah at Valencia and Scott McTominay’s situation at Man United.
All three could be within West Ham’s grasp with the money they are going to be getting for Rice.
That would certainly take the edge off losing the beloved Hammers captain.
