West Ham United allegedly sent scouts to watch Mykhaylo Mudryk in action for Ukraine against Scotland last night.

That’s according to a report from 90min who claim that the Hammers could face competition from the likes of Newcastle, Everton and Leeds for the 21-year-old Shakhtar Donetsk forward.

West Ham manager David Moyes was an incredibly busy man in the summer transfer window.

The Scot is still in need of a few more additions at the London Stadium though, if he is to guide his West Ham side to any kind of success over the next few years.

Two of the positions in need of strengthening are the left and right wing departments. So it comes as no surprise that Moyes might be looking to sign someone who can fulfil both of those roles.

West Ham eyeing Mykhaylo Mudryk swoop

90min claim that the Hammers sent scouts to watch the 21-year-old winger in action for Ukraine at Hampden Park last night, alongside a handful of other Premier League clubs.

Sport Arena claim that the Shakhtar attacker could be available for around £20 million in January or next summer.

We think he’d be a great addition for West Ham.

Mudryk has bagged four goals and 12 assists already in just 31 games for the Ukrainian outfit. And he has really shone in the Champions League this season with two goals and two assists to his name in just two games (Transfermarkt).

The young winger is a real talent.

He possesses impressive pace, exemplary technique and has a real hunger to prove himself at the very highest level.

We’d be delighted if West Ham signed Mykhaylo Mudryk either in January or next summer.

Whether a move to the Premier League from Ukraine will be too soon for him within the next year or so is debatable.

There’s only one way to find out though.
