Hammers boss David Moyes will be desperate to bolster his centre-forward ranks at the London Stadium this summer.

West Ham actually need to sign two strikers if the truth be known.

The problem is that the Hammers board will probably not be ready to spend lavishly this summer.

So it would make sense to make one marquee striker signing accompanied by either a young starlet with plenty of potential or a free agent.

And it seems as though we could be going down the latter route.

West Ham allegedly in for Moussa Marega

The 29-year-old powerhouse is ideally suited to the Premier League. He is a real handful for opposing defenders and is in a similar mould to Michail Antonio.

We all know how much Moyes likes that type of striker.

Marega has scored 114 goals in 314 career appearances (Transfermarkt). The 29-year-old has 11 goals and five assists to his name in 37 games this season (Transfermarkt).

The 25-capped Mali international would certainly be a useful addition for West Ham.

But only if he is accompanied by another top class striker signing.

West Ham signing him on a free this summer seems to be somewhat of a no-brainer for David Moyes.
