West Ham United are reportedly keen to sign talented Lorient winger Dango Ouattara in the January transfer window.

That’s according to French publication Media Foot who claim that the Hammers face competition from Everton for the €10 million (£8.8 million) rated attacker.

West Ham boss David Moyes desperately needs to bring a new attacking wide player to the London Stadium in the January window.

Maxwel Cornet is out for an undefined period of time, and Jarrod Bowen and Said Benrahma are crying out for more competition.

The Hammers are already on the look-out for a striker and funnily enough, are currently looking at a Lorient player in the form of Terem Moffi.

And now there seems to be another Lorient attacker on Moyes’s radar…

West Ham keen to sign winger in January

According to a report from Media Foot, the Hammers are keen to sing Lorient winger Dango Ouattara for around £9 million this month.

The 20-year-old has bags of pace and potential, and is exactly the type of player who Moyes should be targeting.

The 10-capped Burkina Faso international has been in fine form in Ligue 1 this season, with six goals and six assists to his name in 17 games so far (Transfermarkt).

Ouattara can play literally anywhere along the front-line and would add so much to Moyes’s options in the final third.

He has been described as a prodigy by Foot The Ball, and they’re not wrong, he really tis an exceptional young talent.

West Ham are apparently keen to sign the Lorient winger this month, and for just £9 million, David Moyes really can’t go wrong.

Let’s just hope that there isn’t too much competition for his signature.
