David Moyes may well be on the look out for young central defensive options this summer.
Fabian Balbuena faces an uncertain future at the London Stadium whilst Angelo Ogbonna and Craig Dawson will be 33 and 31 respectively before the start of the new season.
West Ham do already have plenty of exciting young defensive talent coming through the ranks.
It seems as though we could be about to improve upon that even further still, however.

The left-footed centre-back is very rough around the edges and has only played 25 games for Fulham’s under-18 side.
He has a lot of talent, however.
Bowat helped the Cottagers win the Premier League South at under-18 level last season.

The 18-year-old is only on a scholarship deal at Craven Cottage.
TEAMtalk claims that West Ham could offer the teenager professional terms, however.
This will be an interesting one to keep an eye on. He would be a promising addition for West Ham this summer.
Whether we manage to beat the likes of Arsenal and Everton to his signature, however, remains to be seen.
