Foot Mercato claims that West Ham United are in the hunt to sign Vorskla Poltava centre-back Pape-Alioune Ndiaye on a free transfer in the summer.

The 23-year-old will be out of contract with the Ukrainian club in six months time.
Hammers boss David Moyes will undoubtedly be looking to bolster his central defensive ranks at the London Stadium in the summer.
We have somewhat of a centre-back injury crisis on our hands at the moment.

Angelo Ogbonna could be out for up to a month, whilst Fabian Balbuena and Issa Diop are doubts.
And with the long-term picture in mind, West Ham really need to inject more youth into our central defensive ranks.
The problem for the Hammers is that we probably won’t be flush with cash this summer.
West Ham in the mix to sign Pape-Alioune Ndiaye?
So David Moyes could be on the hunt for bargains.
And according to Foot Mercato, West Ham could secure themselves a real coup. The Hammers are allegedly chasing the signature of Vorskla Poltava centre-back Pape-Alioune Ndiaye.

The giant 6ft 8in French born centre-back has really impressed for the Ukrainian outfit this season, making 14 appearances in the process. Given his height, Ndiaye is obviously very strong and dominant in the air.
The Frenchman is an absolute powerhouse and he would add to our already potent threat from set-pieces.
It was rumoured last year that Vorskla Poltava valued the Frenchman at around £10 million (Senego).
The 23-year-old obviously has no experience of Premier League football. That means that signing him could be somewhat of a punt for the Hammers. Picking the defender up for nothing would minimise West Ham’s risk, however.
And there are a lot worse signings we could make this summer, that’s for sure.
