A new report claims West Ham United have ‘concrete’ interest in exciting Senegal striker Habib Diallo this summer.
The world and its wife know West Ham need at least one new striker in the summer.
That has been obvious since West Ham sold Sebastien Haller nearly 18 months ago.

But it has been brought painfully into focus by Michail Antonio’s woeful record this year.
David Moyes is facing a major rebuild at West Ham this summer with as many as six to 10 new players required to overhaul the second oldest squad in the Premier League and replace those leaving, retiring or clearly not in the manager’s plans.
West Ham’s shallow squad have done Moyes and the club proud this season. Indeed the manager has worked a minor miracle with what he has available.

There has been a ridiculous over-reliance on converted winger Antonio. The 31-year-old started the season on fire but has scored just one Premier League goal in 2022 – way back on New Year’s Day.
His only other goals have come in 3-1 defeats to Southampton in the FA Cup and Frankfurt in the ill-fated semi-final tie.
With the transfer window opening in just over one month, speculation is already intensifying over who West Ham might look to sign.

And a new report from France claims West Ham have ‘concrete’ interest in exciting Senegal striker Habib Diallo.
RMC Sport and Get French Football News reported last night that West Ham want to sign the Strasbourg forward Diallo.
RMC Sport and GFFN claim the 26-year-old Senegal international is ‘notably being looked at by Borussia Mönchengladbach as well as Premier League sides West Ham and Brighton’.

“The three clubs have shown concrete interest in recent weeks for the former Metz man, who has 12 goals in all competitions this season as part of an impressive Julien Stéphan-managed RSCA team,” RMC Sport and GFFN state.
West Ham have also been linked with Diallo’s giant Strasbourg striker partner Ludovic Ajorque, who also has 12 goals this term.
Diallo is an exciting striker who boasts excellent pace and athleticism and is similar in style to Leicester’s Patson Daka – who the Hammers were linked with last summer.

He is a good age and had a strong record of nearly one goal every two games for Metz, finding the net 48 times in 104 appearances.
Diallo has 20 goals in 58 games for Strasbourg.
The summer transfer window opens in just over a month on June 10th.
